PIDE ORANTES SE APOYE A LA UNICACH PARA LA REALIZACIÓN DE ESTUDIO EN ZONA INDÍGENA DE CHIAPAS.
MÉXICO, D.F. 22 de Febrero del 2010.- Un Punto de Acuerdo presentado por la Senadora María Elena Orantes López, ante el pleno; solicita a la Secretaría de Salud para que a través del Consejo Nacional Contra las Adicciones, se apoye con recursos humanos y financieros a la Universidad de Ciencias y Artes de Chiapas (UNICACH), a fin de coadyuvar en todo lo necesario para llevar a cabo el estudio sobre el uso de drogas entre estudiantes indígenas de los niveles medio superior y superior de la entidad, así como para que, de manera coordinada, se establezcan al final del estudio de referencia, estrategias de prevención que contrarresten dicha problemática.
La parlamentaria explica que es urgente atender estos temas que afectan el tejido social y que es oportuno abordar mediante la celebración de encuentros entre instituciones de los tres niveles de gobierno para coordinar acciones que permitan a las instituciones de salud y educativas, el Consejo Nacional Contra las Adicciones, los Consejos Estatales y los Comités Municipales, las universidades, las organizaciones empresariales, deportivas y de la sociedad civil, encaminar estrategias de vinculación para hacer frente a esta grave problemática de salud pública en México.
Explica que la V Encuesta Nacional de Adicciones dada a conocer en octubre de 2009, el principal problema en relación con esta problemática en el país, es el consumo de bebidas alcohólicas en grandes cantidades y la dependencia que afecta a 4.2 millones de individuos, lo que aumenta la posibilidad de dependencia y de daño a la salud, ya que se relaciona con 9% de las causas de mortalidad general, sobre todo por accidentes, cirrosis hepática y violencia intrafamiliar.
Orantes López, considera que las acciones de prevención y el reforzamiento de los programas encaminados a lograr que los indígenas con problemas de consumo se acerquen a tratamiento es indispensable, principalmente en las comunidades rurales más marginadas. En Chiapas, durante 2009, se logró poner en operación cinco centros de Atención Primaria para las Adicciones, entre otras importantes obras de infraestructura hospitalaria.
En este mismo contexto, actualmente, la UNICACH, realiza un valioso estudio sobre el uso de drogas entre estudiantes indígenas de los niveles medio superior y superior de la entidad, con el fin de establecer las estrategias de prevención que contrarresten la problemática. Dicho estudio cuenta con la valiosa participación de los representantes de más de 25 centros educativos que acordaron que, en tanto se concluye la tabulación de los datos recabados para conocer el comportamiento de las drogas en estudiantes indígenas de las etnias tzeltal, tzotzil, chol y tojolabal, empezarán a atender el alcoholismo.
Sugiere la firma de un convenio de colaboración, se puedan instrumentar campañas informativas, conferencias, investigaciones, desarrollo de programas, que tengan como objetivo fundamental mejorar las condiciones sociales de la juventud indígena en el Estado de Chiapas, con el objeto de erradicar el consumo de drogas.

A más de dos años de su creación, la Asociación de columnistas chiapanecos A.C cambió de presidente, cuyo nuevo cargo es ocupado por Alejandro Moguel Serrano, quien insistió en que el gobierno federal debe hacer todo lo que está a su alcance para garantizar en forma plena la labor de los periodistas en México, pues en los últimos 9 años han sido asesinados 100 profesionales en ese país.
La toma de protesta se realizó el pasado fin de semana, con la presencia autoridades del ayuntamiento tuxtleco, procuraduría del estado, poder judicial del estado y otros sectores. Los miembros de dicha Asociación se proponen buscar una mayor vinculación con periodistas de otros estados del país y de Latinoamérica.
La agrupación está integrada por periodistas de distintas partes de Chiapas y del Distrito Federal que son originarios de este Estado.
Luego de tomar protesta, el también director editorial de este rotativo destacó la necesidad de proteger al gremio, ante los homicidios, amenazas y atentados contra los periodistas, pues organizaciones no gubernamentales también se reportan 12 desaparecidos en 9 años.
»En el primer mes del año de este 2010, han sido asesinados tres compañeros, dice la Comisión Nacional de los Derechos Humanos. Otras organizaciones consideran a México como el país más peligroso del continente para ejercer la profesión de comunicador, inclusive por encima de Irán o en las regiones de guerra», recordó Moguel Serrano.
Ante los galardonados con el Premio Chiapas: Francisco Chanona y Oscar Palacios, recordó que la senadora, María Elena Orantes propuso al Congreso de la Unión, un punto de acuerdo para exigir a la Fiscalía Especial para la Atención de Delitos contra Periodistas en México, que informe las acciones de los últimos tres años, sobre la violencia y crímenes cometidos a ese gremio.
De igual forma, se espera la cooperación entre organizaciones sociales y periodísticas. En tanto se reforzarán los acuerdos con instituciones académicas y de investigación para perfeccionar los conocimientos culturales, de comunicación, entre otros.
Al evento asistió el diputado federal Sami David David; el diputado local, Oscar Salinas Morgan; el Fiscal especial para la atención a delitos contra periodistas, Ignacio Soberano Velasco; El delegado del ISSSTE Ricardo Aguilar Gordillo, el director General del Cocytech Herminio Chanona, el ex diputado federal y ex senador del PRD Rutilio Escandón Cándenas, así como representantes de sectores empresarial, cultural, periodístico, académico, editores de periódicos de Chiapas y otros.
También estuvieron periodistas de Tapachula, San Cristóbal de las Casas, la directora general del diario Cuarto Poder María Morales Ruiz y la gerente general de ese mismo rotativo Ana María de la Cruz Morales, y la ex presidenta del Club de periodistas Primera Plana de México Rosaura Cruz de Gante, entre otros.

DESMIENTEN QUE LA APER LUCRE CON LAS NECESIDADES DE LA CIUDADANÍA

San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas- Directivos de la Asociación de Ayuda a Personas de Escasos Recursos (APER), de esta ciudad, desmiente las versiones periodísticas que se dieron a conocer en un semanario donde se dice que esta organización lucra con las necesidades de las personas.
“Respecto a la versión periodística dada a conocer por un semanario local, donde se señala que la organización explota a niños y lucra con ayuda de la sociedad, quiero aclarar que los señalamientos hechos por diversas personas para desprestigiarnos, son falsos”, afirmó Sara Maribel Moreno Cancino..
Agregó que “en pleno uso de nuestras facultades jurídicas y de derecho de réplica queremos aclarar que las versiones que se dieron a conocer en la edición del pasado jueves 18 de febrero por el medio impreso, son totalmente inexistentes.
La directiva de la APER , señaló que Gloria Martínez Gómez, se presentó ante el presidente de la asociación y con quien tiene vínculos consanguíneos por lo que se le dio el cargo de Coordinadora General y en ventas.
Señaló que fue quien se encargó de organizar la “Campaña del Abuelo”, donde la parte que las acusa tuvo conflictos con personal de la misma APER.
“Para la campaña decembrina, tenía la tarea de agrupar a 14 personas, sin embargo, ella dijo que se haría cargo de 56 para ubicarlos en la Plaza San Cristóbal donde está Chedraui” aclaro.
Agregó Moreno Cancino que algunas de las personas no cubrían el perfil de ser de escasos recursos económicos, ya que pertenecían a un nivel medio, pero aún así fueron reclutadas.
Señaló que diversas personas se quejaron porque los menores de edad que participaban en la campaña del mes de diciembre no portaban el gafete que los acreditaba como miembros de la APER , o lo cambiaban con otro familiar.
“A cada una de las 56 personas que participaban en esta zona comercial, se les pagaba 2 pesos por globo vendido y a Gloria Martínez Gómez, le quedaba una ganancia de un peso”, aclaró.
Puntualizó que existe un libro de ventas donde se tienen registradas las ventas de la coordinadora General, en donde se puede demostrar que ella reportaba cantidades de las recabadas, con lo que se demuestra su falta de honestidad.
“También, las personas que se comprometieron a participar con nosotros firmaron un documento donde se contemplaba un periodo de trabajo hasta el 6 de enero, pero Gloria Martínez Gómez, desertó de la asociación con lo que sólo quedaron 14 personas trabajando formalmente”, acotó. .
Los encargados de al asociación agregaron “desmentimos también que se les haya dado comida en mal estado, ya que era en la zona de comedores de la empresa Chedraui donde ellos consumían alimentos, así que por lo tanto no estaban echados a perder, ya que ahí se venden comidas que cualquiera puede consumir”.
Dijo que uno de los menores de edad al cuidado de la parte acusadora, presentaba un comportamiento de rebeldía por lo que se dio un incidente en la plaza comercial el cual está siendo mal interpretado.

Aclaró también que no tiene a su servicio a alguna empleada doméstica, sino que una de las personas que es apoyada por la organización, voluntariamente presta sus servicios elaborando alimentos.

San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas- Directivos de la Asociación de Ayuda a Personas de Escasos Recursos (APER), de esta ciudad, desmiente las versiones periodísticas que se dieron a conocer en un semanario donde se dice que esta organización lucra con las necesidades de las personas.
“Respecto a la versión periodística dada a conocer por un semanario local, donde se señala que la organización explota a niños y lucra con ayuda de la sociedad, quiero aclarar que los señalamientos hechos por diversas personas para desprestigiarnos, son falsos”, afirmó Sara Maribel Moreno Cancino..
Agregó que “en pleno uso de nuestras facultades jurídicas y de derecho de réplica queremos aclarar que las versiones que se dieron a conocer en la edición del pasado jueves 18 de febrero por el medio impreso, son totalmente inexistentes.
La directiva de la APER , señaló que Gloria Martínez Gómez, se presentó ante el presidente de la asociación y con quien tiene vínculos consanguíneos por lo que se le dio el cargo de Coordinadora General y en ventas.
Señaló que fue quien se encargó de organizar la “Campaña del Abuelo”, donde la parte que las acusa tuvo conflictos con personal de la misma APER.
“Para la campaña decembrina, tenía la tarea de agrupar a 14 personas, sin embargo, ella dijo que se haría cargo de 56 para ubicarlos en la Plaza San Cristóbal donde está Chedraui” aclaro.
Agregó Moreno Cancino que algunas de las personas no cubrían el perfil de ser de escasos recursos económicos, ya que pertenecían a un nivel medio, pero aún así fueron reclutadas.
Señaló que diversas personas se quejaron porque los menores de edad que participaban en la campaña del mes de diciembre no portaban el gafete que los acreditaba como miembros de la APER , o lo cambiaban con otro familiar.
“A cada una de las 56 personas que participaban en esta zona comercial, se les pagaba 2 pesos por globo vendido y a Gloria Martínez Gómez, le quedaba una ganancia de un peso”, aclaró.
Puntualizó que existe un libro de ventas donde se tienen registradas las ventas de la coordinadora General, en donde se puede demostrar que ella reportaba cantidades de las recabadas, con lo que se demuestra su falta de honestidad.
“También, las personas que se comprometieron a participar con nosotros firmaron un documento donde se contemplaba un periodo de trabajo hasta el 6 de enero, pero Gloria Martínez Gómez, desertó de la asociación con lo que sólo quedaron 14 personas trabajando formalmente”, acotó. .
Los encargados de al asociación agregaron “desmentimos también que se les haya dado comida en mal estado, ya que era en la zona de comedores de la empresa Chedraui donde ellos consumían alimentos, así que por lo tanto no estaban echados a perder, ya que ahí se venden comidas que cualquiera puede consumir”.
Dijo que uno de los menores de edad al cuidado de la parte acusadora, presentaba un comportamiento de rebeldía por lo que se dio un incidente en la plaza comercial el cual está siendo mal interpretado.
“se le dio el bono de 300 pesos al niño, sólo que fue en morralla, la misma que al estar jugando se le cayó al suelo y sus compañeritos de ventas se hicieron de algunas monedas, lo que originó un nuevo berrinche de este menor”, aclaró. .
